May is Programming Month at Cub World – Come out for a Day of Fun!
Dan Beard Council is hosting a month’s worth of Cub Scout Programming each Saturday in May to celebrate the re-opening of Cub World in 2021! Cub Scouts and their family are invited to come out to experience a day of fun!

Open Fishing at Camp Friedlander
Saturday, May 1, 2021 | 8AM-12PM
Cub Scouts, come out with your family for a day of fishing fun at Camp Friedlander! Pre-registration is required for this event. Bring your own bait and tackle. Catch & release only.
Open Range at Cub World
Saturday, May 8, 2021
8AM-10AM & 10AM-12PM
With mandatory briefing at 8am & 10am
Cub Scouts, come out to Cub World for Open Range for $1/Scout! Choose from 2 sessions. Mandatory Safety Briefings are required to participate. Must pre-register for this event.
Open Fishing at Cub World
Saturday, May 15, 2021 | 8AM-6PM
Cub Scouts, come out to Cub World for a day of fishing fun for $1/Scout! Choose from several sessions with a max of 30 Scouts per session. Pre-registration is required for this event. Bring your own bait and tackle. Catch & release only.
Pre-camp Meeting #1 & Nature Hike at Cub World
Saturday, May 22, 2021 | 11AM-1PM
Cub Scouts, leaders and parents, come out with your family for the first pre-camp meeting and then Open tours of camp after, including nature hikes! (Tour does not include camp activities due to COVID-19 restrictions). Registration is required.
