PLN To Raise Funds In Support Of Local Youth
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Professional Leadership Network To Raise Funds In Support of Local Scouts
“My father, Joe Rippe Sr., always loved to have fun and when he could help others at the same time he was truly in the ‘zone’,” said Kate Rippe. “My family is honored to support such a great organization in memory of my father; who believed so strongly in working to improve the community in which we live. PLN is full of people who have a passion for helping to improve our city and mentor local youth. I can’t think of a more fun way to give back than to raise money for underserved youth in our community while playing a fun game of dodgeball.”
On the day of the event, teams will square off at noon in a round-robin tournament, and then a single-elimination tournament. By 4:00 p.m., the winning team will claim the title of Dodgeball Champion of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
“As co-chairs of this fun yet unique community event Megan Ossenbeck, the Transaction Manager for Cushman & Wakefield, and I are proud to be the conduit that helps bring corporations and young professionals together for such a great cause,” said Matt Hemberger. “This event is hosted by the Professional Leadership Network and will help send hundreds of underserved youth to challenge camp this summer, which will provide them with team building opportunities they might not otherwise get to experience.”
