EVENT HONOREE – The LaRosa Family

LaRosa’s Family Pizzerias was founded in 1954 on Cincinnati’s West Side by Buddy LaRosa. Buddy genuinely loved cooking and serving his Guests and soon created strong demand for his Italian food and family recipe pizzas.  LaRosa’s recently celebrated its 70th year of serving real family recipes in communities throughout Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky.

Buddy and his family have led the family-owned business to become a local family favorite among generations of loyal fans. Franchising supported growth during the 1960’s and 70’s while adding home delivery in 1985 and then one number telephone ordering via 347-1111 in 1991 helped establish LaRosa’s unique product and service attributes. Today, LaRosa’s is proud to be a $192 million restaurant company with 60 pizzerias and 5 brand point locations at Kings Island, the Cincinnati Zoo, Great American Ballpark, TQL Stadium with FCC Soccer and Children’s Hospital Medical Center serving Guests at those venues. The LaRosa’s Buddy Card fundraising program has helped raise community support dollars for hundreds of groups, youth teams and charitable causes. Rob and Alexa McDonald

Rob is the Chair of Taft’s Cincinnati Business practice group where he has garnered a reputation as principal outside counsel to private equity and venture capital funds, growth-minded companies, sports franchises, and research institutions.
