GET INVOLVED – SUPPORT LOCAL SCOUTING WHILE MAKING EVERYDAY PURCHASES!
Get involved with your Scouts by helping to support the Dan Beard Council with these unique community partnerships. You can help support the council by starting a Facebook birthday fundraiser, adding Kroger Community Rewards to your Plus card when checking out or requesting a Boy Scouts of America or Eagle Scout license plate at the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV)! All of these are great ways to support scouting that you may already be doing.
Did you know that Kroger will donate money to the Dan Beard Council when you shop there? It’s so simple to sign up! You just need to have a Kroger rewards card and do the following:
- Visit Community Rewards at kroger.com or the Kroger app on your mobile device and login to your account (new users will need to create an account)
- Go to “My Account”
- Scroll down to the Loyalty section and click on “Community Rewards”.
- Search for Dan Beard Council (QJ689) and click “Enroll”.
Every time you make a purchase at Kroger and scan your rewards card, a percentage of your sales will go to the Dan Beard Council. It’s that easy!
When you visit the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV), request a Boy Scouts of America or Eagle Scout license plate to help support local Scouting in your community!
Not only are you supporting Scouting by showing off your custom license plate when you drive around town, but the proceeds from the purchase are donated back to the Dan Beard Council! For details, visit the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles.

Your donation can help send a Scout to camp or help build the next great high-adventure camp. You’ll be providing youth with the chance to have fun, gain confidence and become leaders who live the Scout Oath and Scout Law. For details, click here.
