Dan Beard Council, BSA Hosts Its 13th Annual Spook-O-Ree:
A Safe & Fun Family Halloween Event for Everyone!
CINCINNATI, OH – The 13th Annual Spook-O-Ree is a family-friendly Halloween event put on by the Dan Beard Council, Boy Scouts of America, and will be held on Saturday, October 19th and Saturday, October 26th at Cub World in Loveland, Ohio. This fun, one-of-a-kind Halloween event is open to the community and is designed to involve the whole family. The Spook-O-Ree is packed with activities such as hayrides, the Haunted Castle, Midway games, trick-or-treating, the Spooky Maze, and more. There are activities for every age, but some are designed for older youth looking for a little fright.
One of the most memorable activities at the Spook-O-Ree is the annual Halloween Costume Contest. Everyone is encouraged to wear their best Halloween costume, including adults. There will be special prizes, such as one free session of camp, at the end of the evening for the best costumes. The best costumes are always the most original that show a lot of Halloween spirit, hard work, and creativity.
The Spook-O-Ree is an affordable event for the entire family with preregistered youth costing $10, and free for adults over 18 and children under 3. The cost at the door will be $14 for youth ages 4-17. Included in the admission is a Spook-O-Ree patch for youth, 10 tickets, unlimited Halloween hayrides, the Haunted Trail, 1 round of trick-or-treating, and 1 trip through the Haunted Castle.
